Thromboplastin Blood

Blood thromboplastinin (platelet) is one of the blood plasma proteins that plays an important role in human hemostasis. In other words, it is platelet factor 3.

Hemostasis is a complex process of regulating bleeding through the formation of blood clots inside the vessels. I can explain in simple words.

When a vessel is damaged, its wall forms protrusions towards the damaged tissue to close the defect; this stage is called vascular-thrombotic hemostasis. Further, under the influence of fibrinolytic systems, the formation and disintegration of a blood clot occurs until the diameter of the lumen of the vessel becomes sufficiently large for unimpeded blood flow.

Fibrinolysis is a natural process of destruction of a formed blood clot in a vessel. Under the influence of pathological processes, the growth of a blood clot occurs much faster, which in turn poses a threat to human health or even life. It is because of this reason that we should try to maintain the normal functioning of our immune system. Thrombodynamics is a science aimed at studying the internal mechanisms and dynamics of blood clotting.
