Miliary tuberculosis (TBM, obsolete TB miliarum) - previously used the obsolete name “TB miliaris”, is an acute (for fast-acting forms of TB, since most cases of rapid, acute, milar tuberculosis are asymptomatic), very contagious infectious disease that affects humans and some animals. A special feature is the rapid differentiation, which leaves no chance of cure, between tuberculomas with a diameter of more than 5 mm (and with a diameter of at least 1 mm located in one lobe) and a common cold of the lungs or acute bronchitis.
