Tuberculin therapy

**Introduction** Tuberculin is a tuberculosis allergen that has a nonspecific irritant effect on the skin. Local administration of tuberculin (instillation or smearing of the nasal mucosa) makes it possible to diagnose tuberculosis in a person by excluding healthy people from the circle of suspicion, as well as persons with unreliable data about previous tuberculosis. The tuberculin test is the injection of a specific tuberculosis allergen under the patient's skin. The tuberculin vaccination method is widely used to diagnose tuberculosis in children over 1 year of age. In world practice, a child is tested for contact with a tuberculosis patient first with a diagnostic tuberculosis test
