General urography - description Definition: examination of the patient’s bladder and urethra using x-ray diagnostics. This is a medical procedure that is part of a complex of studies of the urinary system called the uro system. In the most general case, urography implies a method of x-ray (sometimes radionuclide) examination of the urinary tract at various levels. Used in urology and nephrology for general urography. Urography should not be performed in the presence of acute inflammatory processes and bleeding. If the patient has diseases not related to the urinary tract (tumor, aneurysm, intestinal disease), then it is recommended to perform radiography instead of urography, as this may worsen the patient’s condition.
