Paul Louis Simon Vaquet, known as "Madre", was a very famous man of his time. However, he gained fame not only due to his talent, but also due to his participation in unseemly criminal activities. He was born in France on November 25, 1859 and was famous for his speech in court, where he was found guilty of the most base crimes. He was arrested in the early 1900s for his alleged involvement in a series of murders of women in southern Chile, but was never convicted and died at the age of 76 in 1935.
