Velandera Forma Myopatii

Velandera is a form of congenital muscular dystrophy. The child cannot move without assistance. At the beginning of treatment for the disease, some patients can take care of themselves, but later muscle functions deteriorate, the child can no longer eat, dress, or go to the toilet on his own. The patient can be aware of his illness, he is able to understand that he is not able to walk on his own or walk when someone asks him to do so, and is able to help himself. Parents can come to an understanding of their situation when the doctor explains to them how changes occur in the condition of the sick child. Unfortunately, the child will remain primarily in a supine position for several months. There are times when a patient needs more thorough treatment. Sometimes this requires hospitalization.
