Small Mesenteric Vein

The small mesenteric vein (lat. vena mesenterica, paraorbital vein, femoral vein) is a small vein as part of the anterior approach above the lateral surface of the femur; it is connected to the deep access to the deep venous system through a triangular anastomosis. The important arteries that participate in the inner circumference of this vein are the greater common and lesser common arteries of the pelvis. These vessels form an additional trophic artery on the outer surface of the femoral muscles. This small vein serves as a hemodynamic branch of the inferior vena cava. Its length ranges from 2 to 5 cm (average 3 cm), Blood supply - upper, middle and lower mesentery, gluteal region, oblique abdominal wall, lymph - lateral thoracic duct. The venous outflow is small in volume
