Vein Legs Subcutaneous Large

The saphenous vein of the leg is one of the large veins responsible for nourishing the foot. It drains blood from the heel, and then goes through the veins of the leg to the thigh area. Normally, the blood flow here is quite slow and weak, so varicose veins often cannot affect this area. But if there are circulation disorders and congestion occurs in the vein, vascular pathologies such as phlebitis, phlebothrombosis of the vein, deep and superficial varicose veins can develop.
