External Genital Veins

The external genital veins are a small arteriovenous network that is located between the skin and muscles of the perineum. They consist of several groups of veins that form two vascular trunks: one stretches from the scrotum up to the pubic tubercle and the other from the upper part of the vagina down to the external genitalia. These veins receive blood from the genitals and perineal organs, and then return it to the systemic circulation through the deep veins.
