[Appearance] Anterior (or nasal and frontal) point The tip of the nose is the most anterior point of the external nose and is therefore called anterior or nasal and frontal. This point extends towards the nasal septum and is defined as the junction of the dorsum and tip of the nose. [Properties] Sometimes the superior nasal point is the only thing that is visible when examining the face. It is located in the depression between the terminal end (apex) of the bridge of the nose and the bony crest of the frontal bone. The distance from the pit to the top of the bridge of the nose is often different for all people - from 30 to 60 mm.
