Today we will talk about Vichy Normaderm cleansing lotion, which tightens pores. I bought it in addition to the 3-in-1 cleansing product from the same Normaderm line that suited me perfectly and I want to share my impressions with you. If you have oily, breakout-prone skin, then this post may be of interest to you. Well, let's get started!

Expanded opinion: The packaging of the lotion is standard for many Vichy products - transparent plastic, the lid closes tightly until it clicks. It’s a pity that there is no pump dispenser, but despite this, the hole in the lid is narrow, so you can apply exactly as much lotion to the cotton pad as you need. The consumption is quite economical - a 200 ml bottle is enough for about 2-2.5 months of daily use.
The presence of alcohol is clearly felt in the aroma of the lotion, which is confirmed after studying the composition. Alcohol is in second place, its content is also separately indicated on the label - 25%.
To be honest, I don’t really like toners and lotions that clearly contain alcohol (that’s why I couldn’t make friends with the Clinique exfoliating lotion for oily skin and still remember it with horror). Before Vichy, I actively used the product Sebo Purifying Lotion by Arnaud, in which alcohol was also in second place in the composition, but was absolutely not felt during use. With Vichy everything is a little different. It does not cause severe discomfort, however, the slight burning and tingling sensation on the skin characteristic of alcohol-containing lotions is still present (I dare to assume that in the presence of inflammation it will be felt more strongly, because, while studying reviews, I found several in which girls wrote about “wild redness and burning from alcohol”). According to the manufacturer, the lotion is intended for sensitive skin. So, in my opinion, it still needs a more delicate product.

In all other respects, I am satisfied with the lotion. I use it twice a day after washing my face with Vichy Normaderm Tri-Active deep cleansing Scrub + Wash gel + MaskAnd then apply moisturizer. The lotion does not dry out the skin (although I had such concerns after the first use), absorbs quickly enough and does not leave a sticky feeling. Cleans well, giving a fresh look. My skin reacts very quickly to improper care and begins to take revenge on me with inflammation and blackheads, but there were no problems with this lotion. The main promise of the manufacturer is to tighten pores. When I started using Vichy Normaderm lotion, my pores were in fairly good condition (virtually not enlarged), and they remain the same throughout its use. Oily shine doesn't bother me during the day either.
To summarize, I can say that I generally liked the lotion and it suited me, however, if I choose between it and a “softer” product that is more comfortable to use, I will choose the second one.
