Lupus Erythematosus

Lupus erythematosus is a chronic disease that manifests itself in the form of damage to the skin and internal organs. It belongs to the group of autoimmune diseases and is characterized by the presence of antibodies that attack healthy cells in the body.

Symptoms of lupus erythematosus can vary and depend on the severity of the disease. Typically, patients complain of skin rash, redness and itching of the skin, as well as joint and muscle pain, fatigue and weakness.

The causes of lupus are unknown, but it is believed that the disease is associated with genetic factors, a disorder of the immune system, or
