Hair follicle

Hair follicles are an important part of the hair follicle and are responsible for hair growth and development. They are located in the scalp and consist of several layers of cells that provide nutrition and hydration to the hair. Hair follicles can come in different sizes and shapes, depending on the type of hair and their location on the head.

Hair follicles have several growth phases, and each phase is characterized by its own characteristics. The first phase is anagen, when the hair grows from the hair follicle and reaches a certain length. Then comes the second phase - catagen, when the hair begins to fall out of the follicle. After this, the third phase is telogen, when the lost hair is replaced with new ones.

Each hair has its own characteristics of growth and development, which are determined genetically. Some people may have a lot of long hair on their head, while others may only have a small amount. It is also important to note that hair length can vary depending on a person's age and overall health.

The process of formation of hair follicles begins in the womb, but is finally formed by about 6-8 years.
