Lamblevskie villi

Villus giardia is a biological study in the field of urology aimed at studying the role of bacterial biofilms and risk factors for the development of kidney infection. This is one of the first studies that was able to link microbial bacteria with the appearance of hemorrhagic lesions in people suffering from kidney diseases: chronic pyelonephritis, glomerulonephritis.

For the first time, microscopic detection of villi was recorded by the German researcher Wolfgang Liebler, who worked in Germany. He published the first summary of the research results in 1959. It was by the name of the author that their term was first named. Thanks to these studies, the fact was confirmed that the formation of a bacterial biofilm when attached to the surface of an organ is accompanied by the fixation and change of nutrients and oxygen. Because of this, predominantly acid-fast and hemolytic streptococci and Staphylococcus aureus participate in the formation of biofilm.
