Vulnuzan: a medicine based on the mother liquor of Lake Pomorie

Vulnuzan is a medicine produced by Farmakhim-Sopharma in Bulgaria. This drug belongs to the group of biogenic stimulants and is intended for the treatment of various types of wounds, including purulent, superficial, deep, trophic and erosive-ulcerative wounds.

The main active ingredient of Vulnuzan is the mother liquor of Lake Pomorie. This is a natural product containing many macro- and microelements, such as magnesium, potassium, calcium, sodium, chlorine, bromine, iron, manganese, copper, cobalt, iodine, molybdenum, zinc, bismuth, selenium, as well as colloids, acids, alkalis and other organic substances.

The use of Vulnusan is recommended for the treatment of various types of wounds, including infected, surgical, pararectal and post-injection abscesses, atherosclerotic and post-traumatic wounds, as well as erosive and ulcerative skin lesions, such as ulcerations in Buerger's disease, varicose ulcers, cervical erosion, cracked nipples and others.

The drug is used in the form of an ointment that must be applied to damaged skin several times a day. Before use, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the wound from purulent masses and treat it with an antiseptic.

When using Vulnuzan, some side effects may occur, such as allergic reactions in the form of skin rashes and urticaria, as well as local reactions in the form of pain when applied to ulcers. Contraindication for use is hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

It is important to note that the use of Vulnuzan during pregnancy and lactation is possible only as prescribed by a doctor and if there are vital indications. The use of the drug does not interfere with feeding the child and does not require its cessation.
