Wheezing (rhonchiae) is one of the most commonly used terms in the medical field. They are unusual sounds that occur as air passes through the respiratory tract. There are different types of wheezing, each of which has its own characteristics and cause of occurrence.

First of all, wheezing can be caused by various diseases of the respiratory tract, such as bronchitis, bronchial asthma, pneumonia and others.
