Winkler Method

The Winkler method is a surgical technique developed by German surgeon Heinrich Winkler in 1894. This method is used to treat varicose veins of the lower extremities.

Winkler believed that varicose veins are a consequence of impaired venous outflow from the legs. He proposed a method that allows you to restore this outflow and thereby cure varicose veins.

The essence of the method is that a small incision is made in the leg, through which part of the vein that cannot function normally is removed. After this, the vein is restored and begins to function normally.

This method is very effective and is used in many clinics around the world. However, before you decide to have surgery, you should carefully consider all the possible risks and benefits.
