Yaws Secondary

"Yaws is one of the most serious skin diseases caused by the bacterium Haemophilus influenzae type B. This disease manifests itself in the form of severe skin inflammation and can lead to the development of other serious diseases such as purulent meningitis. Primary yaws occurs when infected for the first time, and secondary - in case of re-infection of an already suffered disease."

Secondary yaws is one of the most common forms of the disease. And it is absolutely no different from primary yaws in its course. It just goes away a few weeks faster, in some cases even in one week. But nevertheless, the secondary form is not easy. Its development has more acute symptoms; it is accompanied by fever and manifestations of the frambelic state. These manifestations are found on the skin, which makes itself felt through inflammation called “frambellion”. If the spread is widespread throughout the body, and sometimes even extends to the surface of the eyes, nose and mouth, then such forms of the disease are extremely difficult to treat, and some complications can even lead to death. Therefore, it is very important to carry out timely diagnosis and treatment of the disease, as well as to prevent infection with various infections.
