Dosage forms: capsules 1 mg
Composition: Active substance - ketotifen fumarate.

Indications for use: Prevention of attacks of bronchial asthma, allergic bronchitis, hay fever; prevention and treatment of allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, urticaria, atopic dermatitis, migraine.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity, pregnancy, lactation, children under 3 years of age (tablets), 6 months (syrup).

Side effects: From the nervous system and sensory organs: sedation, decreased reactivity, lethargy, feeling tired, mild dizziness, headache, drowsiness, rarely - anxiety, sleep disturbance, nervousness (especially in children). From the gastrointestinal tract: dry mouth, increased appetite, nausea, vomiting, gastralgia, constipation. Other: allergic skin reactions, weight gain.

Interaction: Strengthens the effects of sedatives, hypnotics, other antihistamines and ethanol. Oral antidiabetic drugs increase the likelihood of thrombocytopenia.

Overdose: Symptoms: drowsiness, confusion, disorientation, bradycardia and tachycardia, hypotension, shortness of breath, increased excitability, possible development of coma. Treatment: gastric lavage, administration of activated carbon, saline laxatives. Symptomatic therapy.

Special instructions: Not intended for relieving an attack of bronchial asthma. Use with caution while working for vehicle drivers and people whose profession involves increased concentration. Treatment is stopped gradually, over 2-4 weeks (relapse of asthmatic symptoms is possible). Please note that the syrup contains ethyl alcohol and carbohydrates.
