Alveolar gland

The alveolar gland, or Alveus gland (glandula alveolāris, linnhi; lat. glandula - gland, alveus - nostril) is a paired organ in the chest in humans and many other mammals, secreting a nasopharyngeal secretion that irrigates the mucous membranes of the nose.
