Zixorin

Zixorin is a hepatoprotective agent produced in Hungary by the company Gedeon Richter A.O.

The international name of the drug is Flumecinol. Zixorin is available in the form of capsules and emulsion drops.

Hepatoprotectors are used for the treatment and prevention of liver diseases. They improve the functional state of the liver, normalize metabolic processes in hepatocytes, and enhance the antitoxic and protein-synthesizing functions of the liver.

Zixorin has choleretic, choleretic and hepatoprotective effects. The drug stimulates the secretory and motor function of the biliary tract, accelerates the passage of bile, and increases the content of bile acids in bile. In addition, Zixorin improves metabolic processes in the liver, reduces cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood.

The drug is prescribed for diseases of the liver and biliary tract: chronic hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, cholecystitis, cholangitis. Zixorin is well tolerated and rarely causes side effects.
