A tubular goiter (lat. tuberculus tubercle) is a deformation of the thyroid gland that occurs as a result of the proliferation of its tissues. It usually appears as a small growth that may be visible on the patient's neck. This disease has several symptoms such as a feeling of a lump in the throat, difficulty swallowing, fatigue and neck pain. It is usually not life-threatening, but can cause discomfort and affect the functioning of the thyroid gland.
