“f” waves may be a symptom of:
- ventricular fibrillation; - shortening of the QT interval (the interval during which the ventricles are excited between the “R” and “S” waves); - paroxysmal tachycardia; - WPW syndrome (inherited syndromes, which are characterized by the presence of one of two or both antigen genes). - These teeth tend to shift due to the enlargement of the AV node. They also serve as a consequence of retrograde conduction from the lower part, which is located in the region of the sinus node. The displacement tends to increase with the occurrence of a progressive degree of bundle branch block. Fibrillation of Purkinje fibers or myocardium can also cause pathological displacement of the teeth, which is the result of ischemia or infarction.
