Dental Branches Superior

The superior dental branches are openings in the body of the upper jaw through which channels with nerves and blood vessels pass, providing innervation and blood supply to the teeth. The teeth of the upper jaw are innervated by three branches of the trigeminal nerve - buccal, zygomatic, palatine, and a branch of the maxillary nerve, which passes into the upper dental foramen for the trigeminal canal.
