Doctors often do something stupid, exploit a tumor in the stomach, and it turns into an abscess, but often it begins on its own.
Signs. We have already mentioned the signs of the onset of an abscess in an article about hot tumors in the stomach.
Treatment. You should hurry to bleed and cool the stomach suffering from a hot tumor by all possible means, inside and outside, in order to prevent it from turning into an abscess. If it nevertheless turns into an abscess and takes the path of maturation, then if the disease is mild and you assume that the tumor will soon mature, you should give the patient fresh milk and hot water over and over again, feel the hardening and see if it is pressed in is it under your finger; At the same time, you should monitor whether there is restlessness and “goose bumps” and whether the entire swelling is pressed under the finger. If it is not pressed in, then the patient should be given fenugreek and tribulus juice and bitter almond oil, and if a stronger remedy is needed and the progress towards ripening exceeds the initial one, you add castor bean oil to the medicine. One of the remedies tested in this case is to give the patient to drink dry dandelion in the amount of one and a half dirhams, horehound seeds, fenugreek each for a dirham; all this is ground and drunk with fresh hot milk of some animal, for example, with the milk of a donkey or goat; the amount of milk should be three uqiyas and three dirhams of sugar should be mixed with it. The following medicine has also been tested: take dry dandelion leaves one uqiya, fenugreek two uqiya, horehound seeds four uqiya, pound, sift, mix with goat milk and sesame oil and use as a bandage. You should also bathe the patient in warm water and apply some medicine prepared with boiled figs, chamomile and fenugreek to the area of the abscess; to enhance it, add bitter wormwood; the purpose of all this is to promote the maturation and opening of the tumor.
If you decide that the tumor is ripe, and have already applied the aforementioned bathing and bandages, after which you applied the above-mentioned bandage with figs, you lay out a double bedding for the patient, extremely smooth and warm, and order him to lie on this bed with his stomach down while he has the tumor will not open under such pressure. You will know that the tumor has opened because it will fall off and the stomach will retract, and also because the patient will begin to spew pus and blood in vomit and feces; at such a time he should be given sabur and chicory juice. And when the tumor is opened, he is given healing medicines, although the illness of a person who vomits pus from the stomach inspires despair rather than hope. If you suspect that there is pus in the stomach, remove it by laxation, but do not force it to come out in vomit. When such methods do not work, they use the medications mentioned in the paragraph on solid tumors. As for food suitable for such patients, first there are stews prepared from starch, purified barley and egg yolks, and finally food that includes dill and fenugreek in appropriate quantities.
