Onions and leeks boiled with medicinal chamomile, or a plaster of white lead with ammonium resin are also applied to the tumor. If the pain is very severe, then take fresh henbane leaves, squeeze the juice out of them, take a little henbane infusion and mix the juice with the infusion; then the bread is soaked in this liquid and a not very thick egg yolk or rose oil is added, and a plaster is prepared. Mild poultices and sitting in water in which painkillers such as flaxseed, marshmallow, marshmallow seed or mallow have been boiled also sometimes help. Shredded wheat mucus is added to the water.
