Perisplenitis

Perisplenitis is a condition in which inflammation of the peritoneal covering of the spleen occurs. This disease belongs to the group of diseases of the abdominal cavity and can occur for various reasons.

The main causes of perisplenitis are infectious diseases such as viral hepatitis, tuberculosis, brucellosis and other bacterial infections. Perisplenitis can also be caused by trauma to the spleen or surgery.

Symptoms of perisplenitis may include pain in the upper left abdomen, fever, nausea and vomiting, bowel movements and breathing problems. In some cases, there may be a feeling of heaviness in the left hypochondrium.

Various methods are used to diagnose perisplenitis, including ultrasound, computed tomography, and laboratory blood tests.

Treatment for perisplenitis depends on its cause. In case of infectious origin of the disease, the use of antibiotics is indicated. In severe cases, surgery may be required.

In general, perisplenitis is a serious disease that requires careful monitoring and comprehensive treatment. If the above symptoms appear, you should consult a doctor for diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

Perisplenopathy is an inflammatory process of liver tissue and its capsule. Perispleitis is an inflammatory disease that affects the fibrous membrane that encloses the liver and is accompanied by severe pain and peritoneal symptoms. It is worth knowing that perisplenopathy is also called “perisplen”, “perisplene” or even “perihepatic peritonitis”.

Perihepatitis is an inflammation that directly affects the liver tissue, and pericholangiolar pathology is an inflammatory reaction that affects the fibrous capsule of the liver (cholangitis, cholangostomy, pericholangiolar inflammation). However, in addition to this, there is also mesenteric perihepatitis, as a type of development of non-occlusive disease of the subhepatic space, characterized by diffuse multifocal inflammation of the liver tissue.
