Isfidaj - white lead

Essence.
This is the ash of tin and lead. Lead isfidaj, if burned strongly, turns into red lead and becomes excessively soft.

Isfidaji are all made with vinegar, although sometimes they are made with salts, and sometimes in various other ways, as can be learned from the books of learned people engaged in this matter.

Nature.
Cold, dry to the second degree.

Actions and properties.
Isfidaj prepared with vinegar is very thin and penetrates deeper; the other isfidaj does not cut much apart, but glues it together, especially minium.

Tumors and acne.
Isfidaj softens cold and hard tumors.

Wounds and ulcers.
Isfidaj is included in the patches; it fills the ulcers, growing meat in them, and eats away spoiled meat; minium is especially notable for this. Minium also grows meat better.

Organs of the eye.
Isfidaj helps with pimples on the eyes.

Eruption organs.
Isfidaj is one of the medicines against fissures in the anus; •he helps a lot.
