The packaging for Keels eye cream with avocado is a simple white plastic jar with a screw-on lid and a protective membrane.

There is no spatula included, so I had to use the one I had left over from Estee Lauder.

The cream is quite thick, with an oily texture. The fragrance is weak and pharmaceutical (which is quite logical for a pharmaceutical brand). When applied, the cream melts and spreads easily over the skin.

However, the oily trace from it does not absorb for quite a long time. It’s not that it’s somehow annoying, because... this is not a problem at all. This is just the kind of cream that I sometimes need to “blot with a napkin” as advised in various cosmetic magazines.

Well, in general, my impressions are ambivalent. Because I have already noticed that if something is wrong with the body and it gives you bruises, bags, wrinkles under the eyes, then few cosmetic products can radically help.

I have never come across an eye cream that would help, for example, against dark circles under the eyes. Even if I get enough sleep, I still have a slight blue tint, my skin is very thin. And with severe bruises, it seems to me that it is generally useless to fight with the help of creams; it is better to go to bed right away. And preferably with chamomile compresses. Well, in order not to scare people, they came up with concealers and foundations.

If you suddenly have puffiness and bags under the eyes, then cucumbers, ice, creams with a lifting effect and all sorts of special products help, one of which I recently wrote about (Tony Moly panda). But it helps me best against edema if I don’t eat salty foods at night and don’t sleep with my face in the pillow. The most reliable remedy for swelling, in fact!

Dry skin and wrinkles - that's where this avocado eye cream comes to the rescue. Dense, oily, it nourishes the skin as much as possible. No worse than some eye masks. However, it still doesn’t solve global problems with crow’s feet, which is a shame. I didn’t notice any anti-aging effect from it.

But what surprised me was that despite the density and fat content of this cream, concealer or foundation lays on it normally and does not roll off.

My verdict - KIEHL'S Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado - a good, high-quality eye cream for winter and cold, when our skin, in principle, needs more nutrition and protection than usual. He copes with this with a bang.

It is good both as a daytime option (if there is swelling, then I “finish it off” with Panda) and as a night cream around the eyes. Only the remaining cream should still be removed with a napkin, otherwise swelling is again possible in the morning. (vicious circle).

The downside for me is the lack of an anti-aging effect, the oily residue is not absorbed and in the summer, in general, in my opinion, it will be a bit heavy on the eyelids.
