Clogged pores and comedones most often appear due to excess oil production by the skin. Sebum comes to the surface through the pores and forms a protective lipid film. Gradually it dissolves. Unexfoliated skin cells become stuck in the oily layer. Therefore, regular exfoliation in this case helps remove dead cells from the surface. This mainly happens with oily and combination skin.

AHAs (Alpha hydroxy acids) are mainly fruit acids.
