Oily skin on the forehead: what to do?

The epidermis on the forehead tends to become most oily during adolescence. Closer to middle age, less subcutaneous fat is produced, and by old age, fat ceases to be produced completely.

The main signs of a fat forehead are:

  1. Shine;
  2. Subcutaneous tubercles;
  3. Lots of blackheads;
  4. Wide pores.

It is necessary to get rid of fat on the forehead both from the outside and from the inside. As for external procedures, these are standard facial care procedures:

  1. Wash your face warm water twice a day. The use of hot water is not recommended, since high temperature stimulates the sebaceous glands even more;
  2. Do not use aggressive care products. Choose a suitable washing gel;
  3. It is necessary to exfoliate weekly;
  4. Masks can be made no more than twice a week. White clay, lemon juice or potatoes ground in a meat grinder work well;
  5. Try to use foundation less often;
  6. Once a week, you can wipe your forehead with a solution of a teaspoon of sea salt in half a liter of melt water.

As a comprehensive approach to getting rid of fat on the forehead review your diet:

  1. Avoid fatty and fried foods;
  2. Eliminate salty and sweet foods;
  3. Try to eat natural foods;
  4. Add vitamin B6 to your diet, it is found in fish, pork, beef, bananas, avocados, nuts, beans and liver;
  5. It is also advisable to consume foods rich in vitamin B2: potatoes, oatmeal, milk, cocoa, lamb.

Homemade face masks for excess oiliness

You should only stop using masks if a third of your face or more is covered with acne. In other cases, masks can and should be used.

However, several rules must be followed:

  1. Before the procedure, wash your hands with soap;
  2. The skin must first be cleaned;
  3. Do not use components containing alcohol;
  4. Do not make a mask in reserve;
  5. The ingredients must be clean and fresh.

A few recipes for oily skin:

  1. Grind 20 grams of cottage cheese or pass through a sieve, pour in 30 grams of kefir and a few drops of mint essential oil. Mix everything, apply to face for half an hour, then rinse;
  2. Mix blue clay with a crushed brewer's yeast tablet, pour the mixture with regular tea until it reaches the consistency of sour cream, add a few drops of hazelnut oil. Apply to steamed skin and let dry on face, then rinse;
  3. Grind the dry fruits of green peas in a coffee grinder, add a couple of grams of turmeric and about 8 ml of peach oil. Apply to the skin, wait for it to dry, then remove the mask with cotton pads and purified water;
  4. Crush several tablets of acetylsalicylic acid, add 4 ml of mango essential oil and add plantain decoction to the desired sour cream consistency. Apply to face with a brush or wearing gloves, wait 10 minutes, then rinse.

Thus, in order to provide oily skin with complete care, it is not at all necessary to resort to expensive cosmetic procedures. You can set up a beauty salon at home.

Why is my forehead fat?

If the oiliness of the skin is increased, it is immediately visible on the forehead, nose and chin. On the body itself, areas on the chest and back are also oily. This type of skin may be permanent or may occur periodically.

The main prerequisites for this type are:

  1. Genetics;
  2. The period of growing up;
  3. Hormonal disorders;
  4. Problems with the digestive system;
  5. Poor nutrition;
  6. Regular prolonged exposure to the sun or high temperatures;
  7. Stress;
  8. Pregnancy;
  9. Climax;
  10. Disturbances in the functioning of the endocrine system.

There is also a number of diseases that cause the skin to become oily:

  1. Diabetes;
  2. Obesity;
  3. Exhaustion;
  4. Cysts or tumors on the ovaries;
  5. Various liver diseases.

In the case of a genetic predisposition, it is only possible to regularly eliminate unpleasant manifestations, but it is unlikely that it will be possible to completely get rid of the problem forever.

The benefits of oily skin

Any skin type has its own disadvantages and advantages. The main advantages of facial oiliness compared to other types are:

  1. Smooth and high-quality tan. Unlike the dermis, which is prone to dryness, with well-functioning sebaceous glands, the fat secreted by them is a good natural tanning agent;
  2. Late aging and wilting of the skin;
  3. Long absence of wrinkles;
  4. With well-chosen makeup, your face will shine beautifully with a pearlescent hue;
  5. In old age, the skin looks fresher and more elastic;
  6. The fatty film prevents negative environmental factors from harming dermal cells.

Therefore, don’t be upset, follow simple care tips, choose the right cosmetics and you will look gorgeous for many years to come.

Oily skin on forehead and acne

If you have acne on your forehead with oily skin, caring for it requires even more careful attention. Since in an effort to get rid of the hated oily sheen, you can further aggravate your acne problems. To prevent this from happening:

  1. Avoid mechanical impacts on the skin using brushes or sponges;
  2. Skip scrubs or use them sparingly and avoid rubbing on acne-prone areas;
  3. Rub your face with lemon. The acid disinfects acne and removes excess oil;
  4. Do not use aggressive cleansers.

Thus, if the problem of oiliness is aggravated by the appearance of acne, this means that the pores are clogged and, in addition, an infection has joined them. Your task is to keep your face clean, not to take aggressive actions, to promptly and efficiently cleanse the pores and moisturize the dermis.

Quite often, the perfect picture of your face at a party is ruined by a fat forehead. A cosmetologist or a qualified dermatologist will tell you how to get rid of this phenomenon. On your own, you can adjust your diet, rest schedule and fit time into your schedule for facial care.

Video: caring for oily skin

In this video, dermatocosmetologist Evelina Vasilyeva will tell you how to properly care for oily skin, which products are more suitable for this type of skin:

Oily skin (sebaceous, seborrheic, bumpy, porous, oily, hypersebaceous) is a common problem among teenagers and people under 30 years of age. Oily skin is characterized mainly by excess sebum, which is produced in the sebaceous glands. People with this skin type may have noticeable enlarged pores or inflammation of the hair follicles and a shiny face. Skin with hypersebaceous function requires proper care, otherwise acne (pimples) and other inflammatory processes may occur.

Areas of increased fat content are: forehead, nose, chin, back, shoulders and chest. The sebaceous glands are very important for humans and are responsible for many processes in the body. Sebum protects the skin from external influences and consists of lipid derivatives. The composition and secretion of sebum changes during different periods of life. The fat synthesized by the skin mixes with secretions from the sweat glands and creates a superficial layer. It protects the skin from excessive moisture loss and harmful external factors, softens, has an antibacterial effect, and transports vitamin E to the upper layers of the epidermis. Skin lipids have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and are involved in the removal of certain xenobiotics (poisons, harmful substances) from the body.

Causes of oily skin

— Hormones influence the production of fat in the sebaceous glands:
In the second phase of the menstrual cycle, women experience an increased amount of secreted sebum. This is due to hormonal levels.
Oily skin is more common in men, regardless of age. This is due to the predominance of the hormone testosterone in the body, which is responsible for the production of sebum.
The problem of excessive oily skin often occurs in young women, girls, teenagers, especially over 12 years of age. This problem occurs due to puberty. It is characterized by excessive activity of the sebaceous glands.

— Have an influence environmental factors, stress (especially chronic stress), cigarette smoke, air pollution.

UV aggravates problems with oily skin. The sun's rays dry out and thicken the stratum corneum, which prevents the release of sebum and acne (pimples, blackheads) appears.

Poor nutrition, eating large quantities of fried, fatty, spicy food increases the greasiness of the skin.

Poor hygiene (it is necessary to regularly wash your face in the morning, treat areas of skin prone to greasiness) leads to increased oiliness and inflammation of the skin.

Increased ambient temperature increases sebum secretion.

- The amount of sebum secreted also depends on the area of the body. The largest number of sebaceous glands are located on the face, chest and torso.

Use of low-quality cosmetics, oily or greasy based products aggravate skin problems.

Immune system disorders contribute to oiliness, since the skin is a protective layer. If immune processes are disrupted, a symptom of increased oily skin may appear.

Diseases that may cause oily skin symptoms

pochemu-zhirneet-lob-i-chto-iimjVpj.webp

Diabetes. One of the symptoms may be oily skin and inflammatory reactions. This is due to the fact that the disease is multisystemic (affects all organs and systems).

Women with low nutrition (cachexia, asthenic body type). Nutrients are required for the synthesis of hormones. If, due to diet or poor nutrition, a woman does not receive enough of them, then there is not enough building material for female sex hormones and male hormones begin to predominate in the body. In this case, oily skin is defined as a symptom of increased levels of male hormones.

Obesity (men and women of high nutrition). The skin becomes oily as a result of poor nutrition and excessive sweating.

Hormonal imbalance in women may be associated with ovarian dysfunction, abrupt withdrawal of contraceptives, tumors of the reproductive system (the reproductive system, which has the function of reproduction), menopause, and so on. As a result, the level of male sex hormones increases and a characteristic symptom of oily skin, the appearance of bristly hair, deepening of the voice, irregular menstrual cycle, and sweating occurs. If you do not consult a doctor, you may develop infertility, malignant tumors, and irreversible changes in appearance. It is recommended to consult an endocrinologist; symptomatic treatment should be carried out by a cosmetologist.

Hyperandrogenism in men - increased levels of male sex hormones. This complication can often be observed in men who are professional bodybuilders or athletes, since they often use chemically synthesized testosterone to build muscle mass. But there are cases of genetic predisposition to this phenomenon; with age, the synthesis of hormones will decrease and everything will return to normal. Treatment is related to the elimination of symptoms. It is necessary to consult an endocrinologist, cosmetologist, valeologist, nutritionist, and in some cases a psychiatrist (aggression, jealousy, preoccupation with appearance), a sexologist (strong libido, promiscuous sexual relations, rapid ejaculation).

Hypertrichosis (increased hairiness) in women and men - the disease, in some cases, is associated with the production of sex hormones and may be accompanied by oily skin.

Liver diseases (hepatitis, fatty liver) – the liver is responsible for functions such as removing toxins and excess hormones and other substances in the body. If the functioning of this organ is disrupted, a symptom of oily skin in the forehead and nasolabial folds may be observed.

When to see a doctor

As a result of increased oily skin, inflammatory diseases can develop, since sebum is a breeding ground for bacteria. If you discover such complications, you should immediately consult a doctor. By doing this you can prevent increased tissue scarring, the development of septic skin diseases, the spread of infection in the body, and avoid many chronic diseases (such as sore throat, runny nose, decreased immunity). The bacterium Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus and Propionibacterium are mainly involved in inflammatory processes associated with increased sebaceous skin. The infection may spread to other parts of the body or other people. If the infectious process is not treated, it can be fatal. Death usually occurs from general intoxication or sepsis. Therefore, it is important to contact a specialist in a timely manner.

Seborrheic oily dermatitis is an inflammatory skin disease that is characterized by oily scaly lesions that are red (fresh) or white-gray (dry, old) on the scalp, hairline and face, folds around the nose and ears, chest, armpits ( armpits), groin. You should consult a skin and venereologist or cosmetologist.

Acne Acne is a common skin condition that causes pimples to appear on the face, chest, and back. This occurs when skin pores become clogged with oil, dead skin cells, and bacteria. Treatment by a cosmetologist is necessary; in case of extensive lesions of the skin, consultation with a skin and venereologist, nutritionist, or endocrinologist.

Carbuncle (or boil) – deeper damage to the skin, sometimes affecting the subcutaneous fat layer. The cause is an infectious process in the hair follicle, pus (abscess) accumulates near the hair. This is directly related to oily skin. If the sebaceous gland does not function properly, an excess amount of fat is released and subsequently an infection occurs. Treatment by a surgeon is necessary, followed by consultation with an endocrinologist or dermatovenerologist.

Necrosis – tissue necrosis due to deeper penetration of infection.

Treatment for oily skin

pochemu-zhirneet-lob-i-chto-CHJzinw.webp

Treatment for oily skin should be comprehensive. It is necessary to identify and eliminate the cause, and then the symptoms of the disease. Treatment of visible signs without a deeper examination will only bring temporary results. Most often, specialists use an integrated approach to solving this problem, which includes examinations (analysis of hormones, blood sugar, general tests characterizing the somatic condition, identifying pathogenic flora), studying genetic predisposition and life history (dietary habits, habits) . The treatment combines salon procedures, hardware techniques and pharmacotherapy.

Drug treatment for oily skin

To reduce skin oiliness, it is possible to prescribe medications containing the following components:

  1. Lactoferrin is a protein with antimicrobial and antioxidant properties. Has a beneficial effect on the balance of the body's immune system.
  2. Adapalene is a derivative of vitamin A, prevents the appearance of comedones, and relieves inflammation. An effective combination with antibiotics to treat inflamed skin areas.
  3. Benzoyl peroxide exfoliates well, renews the skin, and prevents the proliferation of pathogenic flora.
  4. Azaleic acid - relieves inflammation, reduces bacterial growth, exfoliates.
  5. Zinc is a strong keratolytic (dissolves keratinized epidermis)
  6. Copper – regulates sebum secretion.
  7. Sulfur - affects the functioning of the sebaceous glands and suppresses their secretion.
  8. Isotretinoid – synthesized in small quantities in the human body, suppresses sebum production, lyses (dissolves) the stratum corneum.
  9. Bacteriocins and pyocyanins are metabolic products of bacteria (Escherichia, Enterococcus, Streptococcus, Pseudomonas) grown in a sterile environment. Increases the immune properties of the skin, promotes its rapid regeneration.
  10. D-Panthenol - increases the strength of collagen in the skin, normalizes cellular metabolism. Essential for skin restoration after irritating procedures such as peeling.
  11. Vitamin B6 - participates in the metabolism of proteins (for example, lactoferrin) and unsaturated fatty acids. Favorable effect on the functioning of the nervous, hematopoietic and immune systems.
  12. Vitamin PP - has a positive effect on metabolism and normal functioning of the skin.
  13. The mineral zinc has a positive effect on the immune system. Zinc protects immune cells from the harmful effects of free radicals and activates the body's defense mechanisms, essential for healthy skin.
  14. Other drugs that have a beneficial effect on the skin: Selenium, Coenzyme Q10, Nicotinic acid (vitamin PP), folic acid, Vitamin E, Vitamin C.

Hormonal therapy to eliminate oily skin:

Medicines for menopause in women - Vero-Danazol, Divina, Finland, Divisek, Indivina, Climodien, Livial.
For other hormonal disorders: contraceptives with antiandrogenic action - Yarina, Jess, Janine, Belara.

Antibiotic therapy is not prescribed for oily skin! To prevent acne, it is better to use local antiseptics and exfoliants. Antibiotics kill the beneficial flora of the skin, resistance may arise and in case of urgent need (for example, for acne and other inflammations) they will not be effective.

Herbal treatment for oily skin

Herbs contain flavonoids, tannins, saponins, silicic acid, plant hormones and trace elements. Plant extracts are often used in cosmetics, as they are characterized by a wide spectrum of action. These substances stimulate cell growth, accelerate DNA synthesis, act as antioxidants and delay aging.

  1. Chamomile extract cleanses and softens. Acting locally, it has an anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effect. Restores skin elasticity and smoothness.
  2. Salvia officinalis has a bactericidal, soothing, regenerating effect.
  3. Calendula officinalis has a healing, regenerative effect on damaged skin.
  4. Oak or birch bark has antiseptic and tanning properties.
  5. Tricolor violet extract cleanses, affects the metabolic process and helps remove harmful substances that accumulate in the body.
  6. Green tea extract has antioxidant properties and reduces the effects of free radicals on the skin.
  7. Dandelion root extract strengthens the body's defenses. Supports the proper functioning of the liver, gall bladder, and kidneys. Helps in excretion of metabolic products, which is beneficial for the skin.

In addition to daily home care, oily skin requires additional treatment. It is prescribed by a dermatologist or cosmetologist. The main methods of treating oily skin are:

Hardware procedures for oily skin:

  1. pochemu-zhirneet-lob-i-chto-EONFAfg.webp

    Laser biostimulation is a procedure of laser exposure that causes photochemical changes in the skin. The procedure smoothes, renews and regenerates the skin, improving its elasticity and color;
  2. Microdermabrasion - a stream of tiny particles that painlessly polish the skin (diamond chips, aluminum oxide, etc.) is recommended for removing wrinkles, enlarged pores, tightens and reduces stretch marks;
  3. Iontophoresis is microcurrents that are passed through the skin using special attachments. This increases blood flow, improves nutrition and microcirculation. The effect of treatment is skin regeneration and deeper penetration of nutrients into it.
  4. Cavitation peeling (ultrasonic) – is a shock wave that provides painless cleansing of the skin. Ultrasonic facial cleansing removes excess sebum from the pores of hair follicles and cleanses dead skin;
  5. Ultrasonic phonophoresis is specific mechanical vibrations that have a massage effect, destroy fibrous tissue, and lymphatic drainage (removes excess fluids). The treatment prevents oil from clogging the hair follicles, reduces skin rashes and symptoms of local irritation.
  6. Darsonvalization is a high-frequency pulsed current that is applied to the skin using vacuum electrodes. Dries the skin, improves nutrition and tissue regeneration.

Beauty treatments for oily skin

  1. Scrubs (almond, apricot, salt, clay, plastic, etc.) are a creative method for smoothing and cleansing the skin.
  2. Peels with acids (lactic, fruit, pyruvic, trichloroacetic, glycolic, etc.) reduce skin pH, which has a bacteriostatic effect. Regulates sebum secretion and reduces skin greasiness;
  3. Masks (mud, clay, seaweed based) - disinfect, heal, soothe the skin, remove excess sebum.
  4. Manual facial cleansing is a mechanical and most traumatic way to clean skin pores. It is recommended to carry out such cleaning only in cosmetology centers.

Prevention of oily skin diseases

1. When choosing cosmetics, give preference to the following products:
- low lipid content,
- with antibacterial and antiseptic composition (alcohol no more than 10%.),
— Hypoallergenic (neutral fragrances or better odorless),
— containing natural plant extracts.
— If this is not a specialized certified store that you are confident in, then it is better to choose less popular, inexpensive brands of cosmetics. There are fewer fakes on them. Make your choice in favor of a domestic manufacturer. In the production of cosmetics, they often use plants from our latitude, which are less allergenic.

2. Once a week, use a simple peel or facial cleanser.
3. Use UVA and UVB sunscreen year-round.
4. Go to the sauna.
5. Do not overuse everyday makeup, provide the skin with an influx of oxygen. Always remove makeup at night.
6. Use bottled water to wash your face. You should not wash your face with soap and water; a cleansing gel for oily skin is better.
7. Avoid contact of hands with face. Dirty hands carry bacteria.

Have you tried acetyl salicyl alcohol? It will dry everything out for a long time.

Tata, thank you for your extreme measures. But I still feel sorry for my skin. Apply this alcohol yourself.

I need to see a cosmetologist. that's who will definitely select something good for your skin (and not in absentia!). professional cosmetics are expensive, but the results are worth it

Depends on the time of year, you just need to apply a non-greasy cream now (mary kay time whise (lilac stripe))! :-), and it also cleared up my pimples!

Alexandra, what kind of professor are you? Can you recommend cosmetics?

Catena, your Time Wise gives me acne and flaking.

Acne, excessive oiliness and dryness, peeling occur only from cosmetics. From any purchased one. I was convinced of this from my own experience. For starters, at least try washing your face with oatmeal. You will feel the difference.

After much testing and torment, wasting a lot of money, I came up with this: I wipe my face with a suitable lotion, and then put boric alcohol on cotton wool moistened with this lotion (the concentration is not so strong) and wipe the problem areas. There are no acne, oiliness is removed, but does not dry out.

Winter, but how exactly should you wash it?

Lana, take oatmeal, grind it in a coffee grinder, you can add a little sea salt or plain salt and a few drops of eff. oils, such as mint, myrtle, eucalyptus, tea tree, whatever you like. Mix everything. You can immediately make a jar of this mixture. In the shower you take a handful, dilute it with water and apply it to your face. She's like porridge. You can hold it for a few minutes. and wash off. Store-bought washes and scrubs are resting!

Winter, thank you very much! I'll try it today!

Girls, those who live in Moscow have the opportunity to “see” the internal state of your facial skin and check the effectiveness of the cosmetics you use.
If anyone has any questions about this, ask them, I will answer.

Author, I have the same problem, so, the mattifying cream Pure Skin Garenier with zinc helps me, and during the day I use mattifying wipes from T-Zone (the green ones). It really helps.

Natalia, creams with zinc are not suitable for me, they cause redness :( In general, my skin is not a gift, it is very capricious. But I definitely need to try the wipes, thank you.

Winter, is this wash suitable for every day or used as a scrub once a week?

Boric alcohol seems to be a good drying agent for acne? Perhaps you only need a little bit?

Winter, and another question for you, you obviously understand natural recipes, can you advise me what is good to smear the skin around the eyes to remove wrinkles and moisturize? I'm 26:)

Pharma cosmetics suit me. the skin is also oily. And as a dossier I generally use APV from Tentorium. It seems to help, and most importantly it doesn’t dry out, since it’s water-based.

Author, hello! I’m also 26 :))) I’ve already come to the conclusion a long time ago: either use prof. cosmetics, which cost a lot, or vegetable oil, which costs a lot. cheap, but which contains all the vitamins and substances necessary for the skin, with the complete absence of preservatives. I use base and essential oils. Previously, I also had a problem like you, my forehead was running already at 12 o’clock in the afternoon. It was terrible! After six months of using oils, my skin returned to normal, my forehead is not oily at all, I feel great, I don’t plan to go back to store-bought cosmetics :))) Ask me anything you’re interested in, I’ll answer. I’m not spreading anything, I’m just really interested in it.

You can take oatmeal every day, I use it morning and evening. Everything is fine, the skin is velvety, cleans the pores perfectly. I have already come to the conclusion that I don’t need additional scrubs at all.

Try avocado oil or wheat germ oil for your eyes. You can buy Aevit in capsules at the pharmacy; one capsule is enough for both eyes. My eyes never swell, so it suits me well.

A frozen decoction of bay leaves also works well for an oily forehead.

What kind of word is that?! it’s oily.. it’s shiny, girls, it’s shiny))

Winter, what other thoughts do you use? In the morning, under cosmetics? In the evening for the night? Tell me more, please

Winter, thank you for the information. To be honest, I’ve been thinking about oils for a long time. I have peach kernel oil, would it be good for the eyes or face? And I agree with Katrisha, can you be more specific about what products you use so that your skin goes from oily to normal? This is a big problem for me :(

An excellent oil for oily skin is hazelnut oil. Peach oil will be used under the eyes at night. Also very light grape seed oil. If pimples bother you at first, add ethers, such as tea tree, myrtle, lavender, read about their properties, and lots of information. Additionally, use badyagu, it resolves inflammation well. In general, oils are an individual thing, try one, some may or may not work... Over time, the skin will become normal and the pimples will go away, I can guarantee this, I have tested it from my own experience, but this is not a quick process. Skin slagged with industrial cosmetics will resist, and acne will appear with a vengeance. I have to endure, I endured for 5 months. But now my skin is normal, without a single pimple, there are still enlarged pores from the old one, but I think over time I will get rid of them too.

I have almost the same problem. I bought regular baby powder (composition: zinc, talc and some kind of disinfecting component). It is intended for babies, so it will not harm your skin. In the morning after washing your face, apply a thin layer of powder onto your skin, and top it off with toner or powder as usual. The powder absorbs perfectly (that’s what it’s designed for), disinfects and soothes irritation. You can also powder yourself lightly at night - your forehead is usually very shiny in the morning, but here you can reduce it. And there will be less acne.

yes, yes, my cosmetologist recommended powder with zinc for pimples, for sure!

Oh, I have the same problem too.
I use Garnier Clear Skin. I tried Vichy Norma Derm - it dries out the skin very quickly, it suits me, but it probably won’t be very good for sensitive skin.

Winter, big merci :) I have tea tree oil, a cool thing for pimples, I’ll also buy grape seeds on your advice. :) And about the powder, I remember a cosmetologist also advised me, and I even used it once a long time ago in my youth , but completely forgot about it.

Today I washed my face with oatmeal with tea tree oil and lavender :) The feeling is pleasant, and strangely enough, this mixture cleanses the skin very well.
Winter, please tell me, what oil do you apply after washing your face in the morning?

I also tried oatmeal with salt and tea tree oil. Apparently, I added a lot of tea tree, but the sensations are very pleasant. The crust is not tight, like after store-bought washes, even branded ones (Shiseido, for example). Is it better to eat cereal both in the morning and in the evening, or only in the evening, or is it generally individual? Yes, Winter, please tell me what oil you apply after washing your face in the morning and evening.
Thank you!

Katrisha, you can and should wash your face with flakes just like with a regular washbasin, 2 times a day. I also liked that the skin was not tight, but nevertheless not oily. Great stuff!

YES, Author, it’s a cool thing. How lucky we are with our advisor here :))

She just disappeared somewhere :(

Hello! I’m very glad that you liked my recipe! :))) It’s really better than any advertised expensive face wash! As for oils, my opinion is: The cheapest vegetable oil is better than the most expensive cream. I really like to use hazelnut during the day, it is very suitable for oily and combination skin, it mattifies well, oddly enough, better than any expensive mattifying emulsions. I also have a favorite kukui oil - it moisturizes perfectly, I make mixtures with these oils. Vin. I also like the bone, I use shea at night, but not always, because... I think it clogs my pores. Experiment, read about oils, lots of information, add esters. If you find your own oils and make your own mixture, then you won’t need any foundations or other store-bought nonsense.

Hooray! Winter appeared :) Thank you for your answer. Tomorrow I'm going to get some oils :)))

Author, if you make a mixture with ethers, store it in a glass container; essential oils cannot be stored in plastic.

It’s winter, do you wash off your makeup with oatmeal? It seems to me that it won’t wash off my makeup, and it certainly won’t remove mascara from my eyes (I sometimes use ground oatmeal as a mask and scrub, but after I wash my face with a regular cleanser. Maybe I’m being so zealous in vain?
Where do you buy hazelnuts, what brand?

Today I ran around all the nearest pharmacies and there is no hazelnut oil anywhere.
Northern, oatmeal does not wash off foundation, powder, and because... I use them, then in the evening I remove all this with the help of a cleansing gel. I use oatmeal in the morning. But regarding mascara, I think that you shouldn’t rub your eyes with a scrub at all, but oatmeal is still a kind of scrub, better with milk, or maybe oil.

Severina, I also have a recipe for removing mascara from the eyes: 3/4 water, 1/4 vegetable oil, you can add a little powdered lecithin from the pharmacy as an emulsifier for oil and water. You can leave the liquid two-phase. If you don’t like cotton wool, like me, you can add a little more shampoo. It turns out to be an excellent wash, but it costs a penny :))) I don’t use powder or foundation, I only apply compact blush a little on my cheekbones, so otherwise oatmeal is enough for me.

I bought hazelnut oil in a supermarket, 0.5 liters, I think, it costs a little over three hundred rubles, some kind of French hazelnut, it’s also a hazelnut, very tasty, too :))). If you are in Moscow, this will not be a problem for you. Or you can buy it from Touchet Flora if they have it in stock now.

I can explain from the words of my cosmetologist, to whom I stopped going, thanks to her advice, why you don’t need to use store-bought gel cleansers and milk. Not only do they contain a lot of, to put it mildly, unhealthy substances, they upset the balance of the skin and alkalize it, while the normal environment of the skin is acidic. And in an alkaline environment, acne, excessive oiliness or dryness and other skin troubles feel great. To normalize the balance of the skin after washing, she dictated a trace to me. recipe: for 1 liter of water 2 tbsp. l. salt, 1 tsp. dry citric acid and if the thyroid gland is normal, 5 drops of iodine. I use it instead of tonic, the recipe is really good.

Winter, what valuable recipes! You are simply amazing, thank you!
I ran to try everything for myself :)

And I thought that it was sold in the pharmacy as cosmetic oils :) Here's a bag :)

Winter, I want to sincerely thank you for the recipe for washing with oatmeal. This is just a miracle! My oily, porous skin has never been so soft and smooth, and the oiliness is decreasing every day, although I have only been washing my face for a week in the morning and evening. Thank you.

Your words are very pleasant, girls. I'm very glad you like it. All this is really very effective and simple, and another important “side” factor is that there is a decent amount of money saved that can be spent on much more useful things than expensive skincare cosmetics :)))) If anything is interesting, ask, there are recipes from pimples, wrinkles, we can fix everything!

Winter, and I am sincerely grateful to you for your advice! For now, I also only have fun with oatmeal; like the Author, I couldn’t find hazelnuts - because... I also didn’t think to look for this in the grocery store!

:)

But my crazy oily skin is getting better day by day! And I practically don’t use creams anymore - my pores have narrowed, my oil content has noticeably decreased in a week. Now I need to make myself a little trick with the nut :))) Thank you very much!

Oh, and by the way, tea tree oil removes acne very quickly! They ripen faster and dissolve quickly too. Class!
