Today we are reviewing a light moisturizer from the Vichy pharmacy brand from the AQUALIA THERMAL series. Judging by the reviews, cosmetic products of this brand cause conflicting feelings among buyers. And I will take the side of the defense and will be happy to write a review of this product.

Turning to Vichy was a salvation for my skin, which recently, due to certain circumstances, has radically changed its type from oily-combination, it has become more of a combination dry...almost dehydrated. Nasty flaking became a scourge on my skin, making it difficult to apply makeup, and my skin literally began to look dry.

Why Vichy? Despite numerous complaints and negative reviews that this cosmetics causes allergic reactions and generally somehow negatively affects the general condition of the skin... I don’t believe it. Rather, it is a matter of an incorrectly selected product or individual intolerance. Because if the manufacturer writes that it is hypoallergenic, paraben-free, tested and under control...then in most cases I believe this. Still, no matter what, these cosmetics are tested in laboratory conditions.

So, in order not to harm my skin, which was once oily and not to overdo it with moisturizing (also because dehydration and dryness are most likely a temporary phenomenon), I opted for a pharmacy light cream promising 48-hour hydration from the AQUALIA THERMAL series, hoping for gentle but effective hydration. And I think I was right.

I have a mini version of this cream in a 40 ml tube. A standard full-size jar contains 50 ml of product. By the way, the difference in price due to the design and 10 ml is quite noticeable, so the mini version is much more profitable and convenient for me.

The manufacturer promises dynamic hydration and uniform distribution of moisture in all areas of the facial skin, softening, freshness and strengthening of protective barriers, increasing elasticity.

All products in the AQUALIA THERMAL series are based on thermal water. According to the manufacturer's recommendations, the cream is intended for those with normal, combination, dehydrated and sensitive skin.

The cream is really light, delicate, but the consistency is not liquid, it spreads easily and quickly over the skin, the skin immediately feels more comfortable, acquiring not a greasy, but rather a moist shine. I can easily apply makeup almost immediately after applying the cream. Peeling, dullness, and heterogeneity were removed after 2 days of use. Looks and feels much better and more comfortable. And what is very important, the skin does not become oily faster, that is, it does not bring my skin to its previous oily state. Does not clog pores, does not cause allergic reactions, as well as problems in the form of pimples and other things. Despite all the advantages, this cream is of course unlikely to become part of daily care, as a temporary measure for rescue and SOS recovery just right!

The downside is the smell. Personally, I don't like him at all. Fortunately, it is not persistent and quickly dissipates. That's actually all the negative impressions.
