Rectal prolapse

Sometimes it occurs due to severe relaxation of the muscle that holds the rectum and lifts it upward, and sometimes due to tumors pushing out the intestine. Treatment of intestines that return to their place after prolapse is easier than treatment of swollen ones that do not return, and the method of use in each case is known. It is best to treat it the way it is usually treated, and then return it to its place and bandage the anus. If the bowel does not return, use relaxers. We should also mention means that tighten and strengthen the rectum, because most often it is precisely such means that are needed, since after their use the intestine returns to its normal position, if it returns, it becomes stronger and benefits.

Such medicines include liquids for sitz baths or pourings in which astringent medicines were boiled; It is best if such a liquid is astringent wine. They also take rose, lentils, nightshade and sumac, boil them in water and use them; this is also useful in the presence of a tumor. Powders are also such medicines. If there is no strong heat, then take turpentine tree bark - eight dirhams, cypress cones - two dirhams and white lead - dirham; the prolapsed intestine is moistened with astringent wine, washed with it and sprinkled with this remedy. If the intestine does not return and does not move back because of a large tumor, then it is best to treat the tumor and loosen it by putting the patient in hot water in which the painkillers and tumor-losing agents already mentioned in their place have been boiled. Then the anus is lubricated with dill oil or chamomile oil - this softens the intestine and promotes its return, and it is treated as stated. Among the remedies useful at this time are the mentioned painkillers - especially the named water lily medicine, as well as a composition that includes lentils.
