Abscess Aseptic

An aseptic abscess is an inflammatory formation in soft tissues that occurs as a result of the action of putrefactive microflora without the introduction of infection from the outside. But despite this name, there is a certain role of inflammation and infection in the formation of a focus of inflammation. However, if not treated in a timely manner, abscesses can cause serious complications, such as cellulitis, sepsis, serous or purulent mastitis. In this case, the inflammation covers a large area and threatens the patient’s life. Abscesses are mainly diagnosed in middle-aged men. In children they occur much less frequently and are mainly caused by injuries. Most often, abscesses are localized in the armpit, groin, and scalp. Much less often they form in the subcutaneous tissue of the shoulder, forearm, thigh, hand, buttock and chest. Abscesses on the skin of the back, sides and chest are much less common.
