Acromiocoracoid ligament

The acromial coracoid ligament is the acromial process of the scapula and the coracoid process of the scapula. This is where the scapula joins the rib cage and provides stability to the humerus and also anchors the scapula to the collarbone.

The acromial ligament has two surfaces: anterior and posterior. The posterior surface runs parallel to the middle of the medial edge of the scapula and is in contact with its center. The anterior surface is located opposite the center of the coracoid process of the scapula and contains connective tissue fibers and muscles.
