Ovarian Adenoma Follicular

Ovarian adenoma (Follicular) is a type of benign ovarian tumor and is one of the most common pathologies of gynecological diseases.

An adenoma is a round formation that is located on one side of the ovary and is distinguished by its dense consistency and mobility. The functioning of the tumor is disrupted when it reaches a significant size and leads to serious changes in the functioning of the female reproductive organs.

This is one of the relatively common forms of tumor processes, developing from granulosa, which actively produces female sex hormones - estrogens. Atypical cellular tissue with high hormonal activity is formed, followed by the formation of a tumor.
