Dosage forms: nasal drops 0.1 mg/ml
Composition Active substance - desmopressin.
Indications for use Diabetes insipidus, acute polyuria, polydipsia after surgery in the pituitary gland, primary bedwetting (for intranasal use only); for intravenous administration - hemophilia A, von Willebrand disease (except type IIb); nocturia.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity, anuria, fluid retention of various etiologies, congenital or psychogenic polydipsia, plasma hypoosmolarity, circulatory failure, need for diuretic therapy. For intravenous administration - unstable angina, von Willebrand disease type IIb, pregnancy.
Side effects Transient headache, nausea, cramping abdominal pain, dysalgomenorrhea, moderate arterial hypertension, hot flashes, moderate decrease in blood pressure, compensatory tachycardia (with intravenous administration), allergic reactions; swelling, local hyperemia, pain at the injection site.
Interaction Enhances the effect of vasopressor drugs.

Special instructions To reduce the risk of water intoxication and hyponatremia, fluid intake should be limited (especially for children, adolescents, and the elderly).
