Achromatopsia

Achromatipsia is an achromatic perception of light and color. People suffering from this disease can only see the colors black, white and gray. If light and color are simply absent for a person, this is called achromaticity. If there is no color, but light is still present, and everything else is normal in color perception, then most likely we are talking about achromostesia. In the case when both light and all other colors are completely absent, we are talking about blindness.

Achromatopsia, or achromasia, is a condition in which a person does not perceive colors. This disease may be genetic or result from other diseases. For treatment, light filters and special glasses are used, but some patients note that an improvement in the situation occurs after using special therapy based on green light. However, it must be remembered that each case is individual and may require a separate approach to treatment.
