Acorticism

Acorticism (lat. acorticismus) - absence of the cerebral cortex.

Acorticism is a rare disease that can be caused by various causes such as injury, infection, tumor or genetic disorders. With this disease, destruction of the cerebral cortex occurs, which leads to dysfunction of the nervous system and various mental disorders.

Symptoms of acorticism may include problems with memory, attention, speech, thinking, behavior and emotions. Convulsions, hallucinations, psychosis and other mental disorders may also occur.

Treatment for acorticism may include medication, surgery, or a combination of these methods. However, since this disease is rare, treatment can be difficult.

In general, acorticism is a serious disease that requires timely treatment and diagnosis.
