Albetol

Albetol is a medicine produced in Finland by the Leiras company. Belongs to the group of alpha and beta adrenergic blockers.

The international name of the drug is Labetalol.

Albetol is used to treat arterial hypertension, including during pregnancy. It has antihypertensive and antianginal effects, reduces peripheral resistance.

The drug is well tolerated and side effects are rare. These include dizziness, weakness, nausea. Albetol is contraindicated in bronchial asthma, AV block, and bradycardia.
