Enterogenous albuminuria, also known as albumovuria. is a manifestation of a disorder of protein and peptide metabolism, in which urobilins and, less commonly, albumins are found in amounts of at least 30 mg/day in the daily urine of patients. With an increase in albumin content in the urine, a change in its color is observed, the urine becomes whitish. Develops with hereditary metabolic disorders with increased production of pepsinogen. May be an isolated disorder. At the same time, in the urine, along with the changed protein, normal protein is normally found.
