Dosage forms: syrup for children 0.2%
Composition: Active substance - rimantadine.
Indications for use: Used in adults and school-age children for the early treatment of influenza and in adults for the prevention of influenza during epidemics. The drug Algirem syrup for children is used for the treatment and prevention of influenza in children over 1 year of age.
Contraindications: Liver and kidney diseases, thyrotoxicosis, pregnancy, hypersensitivity to rimantadine.
Side effects: Dyspepsia, stomach pain, drowsiness, depression, tremor, headache, skin rash.
Interaction: Enhances the stimulating effect of caffeine. Reduces the effectiveness of antiepileptic drugs.
Overdose: No data
Special instructions: If the patient has a history of epilepsy or cerebral atherosclerosis, rimantadine is limited in use.
