Fallopian Tube Ampoule

Fallopian tube ampulla, or a. tubae uterin is one of the blood vessels in the human body, located in the fallopian tube.

It plays an important role in the transport of blood and oxygen to the ovaries and uterine cells, and also participates in the exchange processes between the epithelium and the fluid located in the genital organ, and between them. The ampoules in the fallopian tubes can have different cross-sectional shapes depending on individual anatomical features. The shape of the ampoule can be either round or oval, cylindrical, spindle-shaped, and sometimes it can be comb-shaped. The length of the ampoule depends on the amount of pheromones in each individual woman. However, normally their length should not exceed 6-7 cm.
