Angiotensinamide is a synthetic analogue of the natural peptide hormone angiotensin II, which stimulates vasoconstriction and increases blood pressure.

The drug is used intravenously or intramuscularly for various forms of arterial hypotension (low blood pressure), acute cardiovascular failure, and collapse.

Angiotensinamide has a rapid and short-term effect, the effect develops within 1-5 minutes after administration and lasts 15-60 minutes.

The drug is well tolerated, side effects are possible in the form of headache, fever, tachycardia. Angiotensinamide is contraindicated in hypertension, angina, and cardiac arrhythmias.
