Lexilium, also known as bromazepam, is a benzodiazepine derivative tranquilizer manufactured by the Macedonian pharmaceutical company Alkaloid. This drug is widely used to treat various mental and neurological conditions. Lexilium helps cope with phobias, anxiety, tension and insomnia, as well as functional psychomatic disorders.

Lexilium is available in tablet form in various strengths: 1.5 mg, 3 mg and 6 mg. The main active substance of the drug is bromazepam. It has properties that help reduce anxiety and improve the patient's mental state.

Other possible side effects include agitation, aggression, fear, sleep disturbance, hallucinations, ataxia, muscle weakness, dry mouth, increased appetite, nausea, diarrhea, liver and kidney dysfunction, hypotension, decreased libido and changes in peripheral blood patterns.

It is important to consider the interaction of Lexilium with other drugs. The effect of Lexilium can be enhanced when used simultaneously with antipsychotics, tranquilizers, antidepressants, hypnotics, analgesics, anesthetics and alcohol.

In case of an overdose of Lexilium, various symptoms may occur, including drowsiness, dizziness, decreased muscle tone, slowed psychomotor reactions, decreased blood pressure, respiratory depression and loss of consciousness. In case of overdose, seek medical help immediately.
