Anseid

Anseid's substance is tiaprofenic acid, which belongs to the group of anti-inflammatory drugs derived from propionic acid. Unsaid is manufactured by Upjohn in the United States of America.

The international name of Anseida is Flurbiprofen. Ansaid is also known under the synonyms Ocuflur, Ocuflur liquifilm, Strepfen and Flugalin. The dosage form of Ansaid is tablets, which are available in dosages of 50 mg and 100 mg.

Ansaid has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic effects. It is used in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, acute bursitis, tendonitis, osteoarthritis, deforming osteoarthritis, acute gout, dysalgomenorrhea, injuries and sore throat in infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx (as a symptomatic remedy).

However, Ansaid has a number of contraindications, including hypersensitivity to tiaprofenic acid, exacerbation of erosive and ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract, hemorrhagic syndrome, “aspirin” triad, liver, kidney and heart failure, arterial hypertension, anemia, pregnancy, breastfeeding (breastfeeding should be avoided ) and early childhood.

When using Ansaid, side effects may occur, such as erosive and ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract, stomatitis, esophagitis, gastritis, gastrointestinal bleeding, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, less commonly - constipation, flatulence, increased activity of liver transaminases, jaundice, iron deficiency, hemolytic and aplastic anemia, thrombocytopenia, hematuria, tubulointerstitial nephritis, renal failure, headache, insomnia, irritability, asthenia, drowsiness, depression, amnesia, tremor, rarely - the development of ataxia, paresthesia, disturbances of consciousness, increased serum uric acid levels blood, fluid retention in the body, edema, eczema, photosensitivity and allergic reactions (urticaria, Quincke's edema, exfoliative dermatitis, bronchospasm, anaphylactic shock).
