Anthrax eschar

Sib and ulcerative scab is a dangerous infectious disease caused by the bacterium Burkholderia pseudomallei. It is a bacterium that usually lives in soil and water, but can be transmitted from person to person through microscopic droplets from coughs and sneezes, and through broken skin.

The first symptom of anthrax infection is an ulcer on the skin or mucous membranes. It appears at an early stage, usually 2-3 days after infection. After a few days, a clear boundary between healthy skin and affected tissue, called a stru, forms around the ulcer.
