Antibodies Heterocytophilic

**HETEROCYTOPHILIC ANTIBODIES**

Heterocytophilicity or heterocellularity is a phenomenon in which an antibody binds to cells of various types and stimulates their differentiation and functioning.

Such antibodies are called heterotrophic. More broadly, heterocytes include cells that express an antigen that is not characteristic of their structure. For example, the cytoplasmic receptors for IL-4 and the growth factor EGF belong to the lymphoid cell lineage of the immune system. These cells have pronounced antigens, but they lack the typical set of lymphoid functions. Heterocytes
