Antifungol is an antifungal agent, a derivative of imidazole and triazole, which is used to treat various fungal infections. Antifungol is available in various dosage forms, such as vaginal tablets, creams for external use, creams and gels for vaginal use.

The active substance of Antifungol is clotrimazole. The drug is produced in Germany by Hexal Pharma GmbH and other manufacturers.

Antifungol is effective for the treatment of urogenital candidiasis caused by the fungus Candida albicans, as well as for the treatment of other fungal infections such as dermatophytosis caused by Malassezia furfur, athlete's foot and inguinal athlete's foot. In addition, Antifungol can be used to treat mycoses complicated by secondary pyoderma.

Vaginal tablets, gel and vaginal cream Antifungol can be used for the treatment of genital infections caused by Candida or Trichomonas vaginalis fungi, as well as for the treatment of vaginal bacterial superinfections and sanitation of the birth canal before childbirth.
