Antibodies Fluorescent

Modern methods of visualizing biological objects and cells allow us to obtain the most complete understanding of the processes occurring in living organisms. One such technology is fluorescence, which allows the observation of various biological objects in real time, as excitation light penetrates the samples and the substance of the object becomes luminous or fluorescent.

Fluorescent antibodies are preparations containing specific antibodies that are covalently linked to fluorescent dyes. Such drugs are used to detect antigens in biological samples using fluorescence.

Antibodies are specific proteins that are produced by the body's immune system to fight foreign antigens. When binding to an antigen, the antibody forms a complex that can be detected using special analytical methods.

One such method is fluorescence microscopy. This method is based on the use of fluorescent dyes that bind to antibody molecules. In this case, the fluorescent dye molecules begin to glow when irradiated with light of a certain wavelength. In this way, antigens in the sample associated with antibodies can be detected.

Fluorescent antibodies are used in various fields of medicine, such as immunology, oncology, bacteriology, etc. They can also be used in scientific research to study the interaction between antigens and antibodies.
